I'm an active football referee with 20 years of experience at all levels of Slovenian football, from municipal leagues to the 2nd Slovenian Football League. Besides refereeing, I'm also the assignment commissioner at MDNS Maribor, where every week I assign referees and assistants to matches of the MNZ Maribor leagues and the 2nd SML East.
I built Delegiraj.si because I knew there was a better way. Not as an outside developer, but as someone who actually needs this system and uses it every week.

The road to Delegiraj.si
Start of refereeing career
First stepped onto the pitch as a referee. Since then, I've officiated at all levels of Slovenian football.
A-list of Slovenian football referees
Listed on the A-list of football referees at NZS, the highest referee tier in Slovenia.
2nd Slovenian football league
Promoted to the referees of the 2nd SNL, the second-highest level of Slovenian club football.
Assignment commissioner
Took on the role of assignment commissioner at the Inter-Municipal Football Delegate Council of Maribor (MDNS MB).

Why I built Delegiraj.si
Assigning referees is a demanding task. Every week you need to check availability, consider workload, account for match distribution, and factor in a host of other variables. Most associations still do this with Excel, phone calls, and messages across various group chats.
When I took on this role myself, I quickly realized that existing tools weren't enough. So as a developer with hands-on knowledge of the problem, I started building a system that I now use every week and that any association can use.
Delegiraj.si wasn't born in a software company's office. It was born on the pitch, from the real needs of a real assignment commissioner.
